Three disciplines. One programme. One team who knows what last week cost you. Whether you are building toward your first sprint or chasing a podium, the training at Sláinte is structured around the athlete you are today — not the one you think you should be.
Swimming progresses through drills, distances, and intensities. Cycling is split so newer and stronger riders each have a lane. Running balances volume with speed and hills. Brick work sits where it belongs in the week.
The public site explains the stack honestly. The athlete portal holds the personalised version: what you are doing, what changed, and what your coach wrote last.
Three disciplines. One community. A coaching philosophy built on structure, science, and the belief that every athlete — at every level — deserves to train with purpose.

“Three sports, one journey. The right structure, applied consistently, with people you trust around you — that is what gets athletes across finish lines.”
Sláinte Endurance Coaching Philosophy

Swimming is where many triathletes feel most vulnerable — and where focused coaching delivers the fastest gains. Unlike running or cycling, swim efficiency is almost entirely technique-driven. No amount of fitness compensates for a broken stroke, and even small mechanical improvements save meaningful energy before you reach T1.
Our squad sessions work across a range of drills, distances and intensities — building stroke economy and the ability to hold form when fatigued. That's precisely when it matters most in a race.
“Private and small-group sessions are available for athletes building confidence before the main squad — or those targeting specific technical weaknesses.”

Cycling is where triathlon races are built or broken. The longest leg, the biggest aerobic engine — and the discipline that determines the condition of your legs the moment you step off the bike and begin to run.
Two ability groups run in parallel. Group 1 for beginners and intermediates; Group 2 for those pushing race-specific intensity. Everyone is challenged. Nobody gets dropped.

Running in triathlon isn't the same as running fresh. It's a discipline performed under load — which means training it in isolation is only part of the picture. Our programme covers the full spectrum of what endurance running demands.

The gap between training hard and training right is often just a matter of knowing what's actually happening inside your body. Our coaches offer one-to-one programmes built around your schedule, your goals, and your physiology.
